What ACTS does
They answered a Call to Arms and shouldered the responsibility of a nation. Now that they are home, we have an obligation to help shoulder their burdens. Your support helps veterans find dignity, define a new purpose, learn a new skill, and possibly earn a new living. By reducing as many obstacles to success as possible, we increase the likelihood that they are successful and are able to get as much out of their new found skill as they can.
We teach, we partner with stores that sell and all the veterans have to do is put in the time and make the products.
Whether it’s a Shoulder Opportunity that brings in a project of theirs with funding to create an opportunity for a veteran or a ACTS pop-up we create to enable several at a time to learn and earn at a holiday festival (or maybe someday a NASCAR event), we engineer opportunities designed to result in veterans who have more skills and the abilities to generate value with them.
